Thank you brynn for your answer. But - hmmm - when I open the png-file the background is solid black? Also: In document properties I put the colour slider ("background colour" at the very top of that window) to the far left, that should be transparent, right? (And yes - I "export bitm...

Hello. I think, I've asked this question before: how do I export a drawing as png but with an transparent background? I did someting within the "background" slider in the document properties (I'm using the German Version. Is this the correct translation?), but I cannot recall what? Can som...

Yes, I tried that. But I got other, more serious errors, so I unistalled V 0.91 and got back to V 0.48 :(

Missing certain fonts

Hi.
Why is it that I cannot use fonts like Wingdings or Webdings? They don't show up in font list.
Is there a limit for showing a max number of Fonts?

Hi. At the fill and stroke panel (Shift+Ctrl+F), click on the edit gradient option to add new steps. You can edit the colours and the position there or by using the node editor tool: by clicking on each steps handles, you can change their colour. That's exactly what I mean: it doesn't seem to work ...

Help with gradient editor

Hello.
I tried to edit a radial gradient. But the controls don't seem to work, as in the Inkscape Manual stated.
- How can I add a new stop or edit an existing stop?
- How can I revert the gradient?
I'm using V0.48
