Can I select multiple layers? If not, why?
Couldn't it be useful to tidy the layers in some order?
Have a nice day

Re: Using fonts without installing them
I'm curious as to why you'd NOT want to install a font? For me, there are issues in working in microstock, where you need a license to show that you have used a commercially free font, it's a hassle using any font really. So, for me, am bypassing that by creating a font of my own right now, that wa...

Re: [solved] Window with transparency and blurred background
Thanks, 'll read it. I also found this: https://www.packtpub.com/books/content/ ... er-effects
However, can the filter be shaped? From the example we exchanged, it seems not.

[solved] Window with transparency and blurred background
Good morning Inkscaper, I'm trying to blur the background of a window, aiming to this effect: http://jsfiddle.net/fillotassi/0ne51s6o/ I found this old thread (http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=13303), but I can't make it using Image Source. It lets me apply the Gaussian Blur filter throu...

Re: Export layers to multiple files
I am not sure if this is still an issue, but I wrote a very basic script which produces a new SVG file for each layer within an inkscape document. I find it useful for producing sub-figures of the same size. https://github.com/james-bird/layer-to-svg Hello Inkjames! I would like to use your script,...

Ok, I did it. Sorry, I probably got confused between rectangles
Where is it best place to call for embedding an external script?

Re: How does the Interaction menu work (with javascript)?
Thank you.
Here I tried to make the content of the chart change, as you did, embedding a script: http://svgshare.com/s/2ut
But ultimately, what I'd like to do is to make the cart fill with slurry until it's "full".

Using fonts without installing them
Good morning Inkscapers,
I'd like to use fonts without installing them on the computer, can I? Is there some way, like placing fonts in some folder as in Adobe Illustrator?
Thanks

Could you Xav rewrite your past example making the divs changing themselves?
Thanks, have a nice day

Thanks Xav.
It's incredible how my file doesn't work
Can it be because I'm trying to set a style for a svg:path?
Is there some guide/tutorial/documentation?

How does the Interaction menu work (with javascript)?
Hello SVGscapers, I'm learning to animate SVG through Inkscape and I can't understand what should be written in the forms of the interaction menu Particularly, I can't manage targeting an #id (which is a <svg:g>) through a javascript linked inside the SVG. The script is working (I can execute a cons...

Rotate around defined center
Hello Inkscapers,
can I rotate a shape around a defined center?
In a similar way to what I'd do in Illustrator: https://media.giphy.com/media/xT9IgO9o2 ... /giphy.gif

Swap stroke and fill shortcut
Hello,
I found an old thread on this topic, but seemingly there was no solution until that moment (2014).
Is there a way to set a shortcut for rapidly switching fill and stroke?
Thanks
f

Hi itchi,
have you found a way to set this shortcut?
I would find it useful too, if possible
