Re: Unconstrained canvas pan with graphic pen key
You have found a very interesting way. Tweaking the AppGestures.xml is certainly the only chance to get around my Bamboo Preference Panel lacks! I would like to avoid installing a different driver. Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer and after a little study I understand that it's almost impossible ...

Unconstrained canvas pan with graphic pen key
Hi! I set all my graphic programs to use my bamboo graphic pen in this way: first pen button = free canvas pan/move depending on the pen movements I would like to set Inkscape in the same way without changing the bamboo settings because are fine for all the other programs that, very often, I use the...

I'm sorry druban but you get the border lines of the path, it's not what I need.
I've done another video to explain:

Re: Shapes from moultiple paths intersections
Thanks brynn, It is a useful method but only when paths are straight ... What I need is to get the exact baundary inside a web of paths of every possible shape.. I put only straight lines in the example just to explain ... my fault .. So..I wish there was a command or an extension for this operation...

Re: Shapes from moultiple paths intersections
I really do not understand your solution Espermaschine. I don't think is the same thing. I do not understand specially your rectangle, I want to obtain the shapes that remain occluded inside a web of lines, not inside a rectangle. However I tried your method and after the division comand I got no sh...

Shapes from moultiple paths intersections
I'm sorry and ashame to bother you twice in such a short time, but ... Not even this time I can find a solution. Is it possible to do in inkscape what I do in this video? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx_-txE5HqvaQUFUa0liU09BczA/view?usp=sharing Paint Bucket is not what I'm looking for. It does n...

Re: [Solved] Refect an object by a selected guide or path
I'm a graphic designer and 99,9% of times we needs to mirror some individual elements and some not.. That feature is most useful for creating Rorschach inkblot and mandalas rather than for the every day most frequent operations . In my opinion the important thing is not to create an "effect&quo...

Re: Refect an object by a selected guide or path
Yes clone tool is not useful in this case. In another forum they suggested me the Mirror extension in the Extension_repository.

Re: Refect an object by a selected guide or path

Re: Refect an object by a selected guide or path
tylerdurden ,I was trying to do the first project using inkscape just to understand if it would be possible to work with it instead of Illustrator.... I think it is not difficult to understand ...It was a trial. As I can see from the eLazur URH explanation, till now, in this specific situation, ink...

Re: Refect an object by a selected guide or path
An incredible lack ... I'm really surprised. Of course I respect the work of developers but I think this is a basic function in any vector graphic software. A mirror tool must give the possibility to select the reference axis, an object, a guide or a path... Without this possibility How can you do t...

[Solved] Reflect an object by a selected guide or path
Sorry, it's probably my fault... Is it possible to use a guide or a path as an axis to reflect an object?
Flip horizontal and vertical are very limited functions ...
Thanks

Re: Jerky drawing in Windows
I am a graphic designer and digital painter and I know very well how drawing tools work ... I repeat ... for example, the pencil tool: While you trace the path with the mouse you see a green track in real time right? In my case this track appears only every few milliseconds ... I do not speak Englis...

Jerky drawing in Inkscape for 64-bit Windows
Hello everyone, I just installed Inkscape to see the differences with Illustrator, unfortunately problems started immediately and I want to understand if it is an Inkscape o Windows problem. I just started drawing a freeform path with the mouse and the "pencil" tool ... jerky. Basically I ...
