Re: Development builds: how to use gdb ?

I just tried to find the corresponding ...dbg.7z for their latest build: 20595, but no luck.
Would anyone teach me, step by step, how to use the debugger under WinXP? I have no inkscape.dbg in the build archive.

Re: font manager programs

I'm still using "The Font Thing" on WinXP. You should try it on Vista to see if it is working. If yes, then you'll benefit by multiple windows and font collections as well as simultaneous display of more fonts and interactive size.

Re: Wacom tablets?

From what I see in their last build (20398), the implementation of graphical tablets is in progress. But at least on mine (Intuos 3 on WinXP) I wasn't able to configure it to use pen pressure in Inkscape. Maybe someone else knows better.

Re: SVG file viewer under Win32

Thank you prkos. I found on that site a renesis plugin (642,5 kB) that allows win explorer to display the svg files in thumbnail mode. I just installed and tested it. Even if it is not very fast, it is doing well the job. In this case, the problem of exploring the folders with svg files I think it i...

Re: SVG file browser

Unfortunately, I can't switch to linux and I agree with you that the developers should fix the bugs, first. But maybe implementing this is easier than fixing some nasty bugs as time as the code to see the selected file is already available. prkos, you mentioned alternatives. Can you be more specific...

SVG file browser

Do you think it deserves to request a SVG file browser in inkscape for windows users? Right now, the Open dialog is limited displaying the SVG files because the Thumbnails mode under WinXP does not allow to see a preview of more SVG files in a folder in the same time. So you have to select each file...

SVG file viewer under Win32

What freeware SVG file viewer are you using under Win? By default, WinXP does not display the SVG thumbnails in explorer and IrfanView plugin that manages the SVG files are not working well. The only application I saw it displaying well is Adobe Bridge, but this is not free. The purpose is to see mo...
