thanks micro, there's an old applescript for potrace that with a bit of macadvice i might be able to use to automate it,

I can get the frames into any format necessary - tiff or tga seuence or quicktime / avi - even a jpg seq or exr, im just after the knowledge of how to batch a series of images with a saved autotrace setting... ive done a similar thing with adobe bridge (illustrator batch) but the output from inkscap...

im looking to autotrace a series of frames, for moving image work, and was wondering if anyone knew if this was possible and how you would go about it
