One of the main benefits of having a forum is getting feedback from the users. I wouldn't go so far as to try to convince a developer to do anything. If they've been opposed to adding this specific feature for years then there's obviously a reason. PNG is generally better for vector graphics than JP...

Hi, That was very helpful, thanks for the tips! I went through that topic and the other you've suggested and things are clearer now. Also found out about JPEG Export Extension. Seems like something that should be built-in. I think that as long as the dimensions are big enough 300dpi would be optimal...
