The standard malloc doesnt show anything under win, so I cant comment. I think this q would be best off being raised at the dev level, either as a bug or to the mailing list. Initially I was going to put this up on Launchpad but didn't want to add a 'bug' report without knowing if it was my system ...

I should clarify that when I say "I see that memory is always being used under Standard Malloc" I mean that memory is constantly being allocated and not returned.
Is no one else suffering from this at all?

Large memory leak?
I've just installed 0.46 on my Ubuntu Gutsy PC as per instructions on the front page of inkscape.org and so far it's running great. I did notice one thing though. When I go to the menu: Help -> About Memory, I see that memory is always being used under Standard Malloc. When left alone, Inkscape appe...
