PDF import - not for editing, just 1:1

Hello, recently, I tried to create a scientific poster with Inkscape. Finally, it turned out all right (I posted it on this forum: http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3622), but it was a very time-consuming effort. I used textext for the formulae, and imported all of my graphics (pl...

Re: Inkscape and textext - header files

Yeah, seems to be a similar problem. It's actually a pity that things are so complicated with textext, I mean it would be wonderful if I could insert blocks written in tex (similar to the above link) into Inkscape, even without the frame. scientific poster - Blackbody Radiance

Hi! This is a scientific poster done (almost) entirely in Inkscape. For the latex formulae, I used the textext plugin. The plots were exported from other tools (one from Matlab, one from IGOR Pro) and modified as vector graphics in Inkscape. The only thing that's a jpg is the lens system which I cre...

Inkscape and textext - header files

Hello, I am using Inkscape 0.46 on Ubuntu 8.04. I have installed textext successfully, and as long as I do not specify a header file, the code is compiled wonderfully. But in order to create latex textboxes for scientific posters, I have stumbled upon this page: http://gael-varoquaux.info/computers/...
