I have in the past exported SVG in Illustrator and it rendered in most browsers, Chrome, Firefox, IE, etc... I saved my file in Inkscape but its not rendering. Noob here. I created a layer with content and locked it. Then I created a new layer and added a closed bezier shape. Finally I wanted to fill it using the paint bucket but its affected by the locked layer below. What is the point of layers and locking layers if they affect the layers above? Any help...
