Hi. That compound path is made from open segments. You need them closed for the right appearance, like with using scissors to cut out the subpaths in one go. Probably merging the double nodes at the bottom would make it look ok, although the right side has at least one open segment as well. Thanks ...

Hello! What did I do wrong here? I was creating this 'at' sign, and I realized (couldn't figure out) that one can't add nodes to a shape, so I made the semicircle myself before completing the other parts of this symbol. Oh! It worked! Thank you! All I needed to do was figure out about combining compound paths. Oh my goodness, thank you for your help!

Thanks for the help! I'm having trouble finding how to reverse the path once I select the node, the option doesn't appear when I right click it.
