Again, follow the steps precisely :D I did not use Difference. I used Combine and path Reverse. Reverse is necessary make the hole and for the resulting circle to take color. While I haven't read all of the posts - attn Brynne - if you combine the circles, you won't be able to see through them (to see the background), in his example, I'm thinking he should be doing path/difference (with the smaller circle on top). right? or am I missing something here? There are so many...

Go back and follow my steps precisely. You need the 2nd circle, either larger or smaller than the first, because the 2 will be combined. After that, you'll have a circle with fill and no stroke. Thanks again, so far i can create perfect half of circle right now, this is the result
btw i want to ask, why i need to duplicate circle first? when i'm not duplicate it, then the result circle has closed path

I've tried to create half circle using and put 180 at start, 360 at end, switch to arc (unclosed path) but still no luck, result still same
