I had very similar problem at printer Canon Pixma iP4200, maybe a year ago. I set driver to high quality and glosy photo paper, but inkscape stil print in standard qualitiy. It takes a veeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy long time to come this last versino. But it comes. Juhey! And now here comes a big hug from Ponny to developers. And big kisss tooo. Thankyou. Now are corrected all bugs added in versino 0.92 and later. I not tested all, but I hope so.

I know this problem. It occurs when I open plain SVG file in inkscape. I am not sure, is this the same problem. But this could be solved this way: Sender in his oiginal file Group all objects in one layer in one group. And then the same recipe in next layer, and next..... Then you get file where is ...

I made transparency test with inkscape 0.92.4. It seems OK. What version use you?
I remember the same problem in old versions. Maybe is this corrected in the last versino 0.92.4.

Just one thing?
Well, then.....
Then, a grid scaling.
When I change the zoom factor - to higher, I often get very huge distances betwen grid lines. Realy too big distances.

And 2/1 of course, If is possible, to fix all bugs added in versions 0.92.x

Now after about 25 days, it seems, this problems is solved. Path setted to absolute all time. Zero duplicating nodes.
Hmmmmm, maybe this is not a bug.

Aha, you can put your own colours on the palete? I mean tiny long on the bottom of the screen? Are you sure? I already asked myself: how can I put some colors in palette. But I can't find answear.

Sorry, but this error is not corrected in versino 0.92.3.
That means, I have to check all colour settings again after every setting and changing.

I made this test right now: Red path with 8 nodes. Duplicate and moving to the right. Result: For Optimised and Relative I get 9 nodes. For Absolute is still 8 nodes. What now? HM, it happens for me, maybe about once in 5 times.
And record was at me - I have to set again max 5 times. Pull to end right - 255, and wait few seconds and close seting window.
And now, I am waiting for 0.92.3.

Aha, that means, my two problems: different line width and adding extra nodes..... There is absolutely no difference about 32 bit or 64 bit versino of 0.92.2?
