Vintage ticket edges in Inkscape - stroke patterns?

resetting the transformation to make an object horizontal?
This may sound stupid but I don't know how to do it so: I rotated an object by hand and now I want to make it fully horizontal again. Is there a way to easily reset the rotation matrix?

In select mode theres 4 little buttons on the right hand side of the toolbar. One of them toggles scaling of line width with shapes. thanks that helped a lot, I still can't get the exact value I want though. Hi all, I need to do some technical drawing for a work. Normally I would use a CAD but I'm currently on Linux and I have no time to test and find a new CAD application other than Solidworks/Catia which are Windows only applications. I thought I may use Inkscape since it lets me work in metric system...
