Re: "Gear" meshing issue
It turns out that I was able to fudge it by slightly shifting some of the peddles a little (I guess I should've thought of that sooner since the peddles were more of an artistic thing rather than that of engineering). However, this should come in handy for another aspect of the project that I'll be ...

"Gear" meshing issue
I'm working on a stylized project in which a larger sprocket gear meshes with gear that resembles a flower. http://i.imgur.com/9J7O6gJ.jpg Are there any tricks that can get these two shapes to look like they convincingly mesh? I keep adjusting the width of the flower pedals, but without any method t...

Re: How do I effectivly work with nodes?
Ok, I did as you said and it worked like a charm! This make the program make a lot more sense now. I still haven't mastered the art of keeping my circles perfect (I hold down control but sometimes the circle still bends out of shape). I'm hoping that my shapes are still more or less symmetrical. Her...

Re: How do I effectivly work with nodes?
I guess the main problem I'm having is that when I click the button for joining with a new segment, nothing happens. Also, when I delete the node you mentioned, the picture looks like this.

Re: How do I effectivly work with nodes?
For some reason when I click "join selected nodes" or "Join selected end nodes with a new segment" nothing happens.
Essentially, what I'm trying to do is this (except with better lines):

How do I effectivly work with nodes?
Hello, I'm a complete newcomer to this software and I'm currently working on a project involving gears. The gear I'm working on right now is supposed to be a type of gear sprocket. However, I can't seem to get the program to do what I want. Essentially, I trying to create lines connecting the nodes ...
