Manipulate the shape of text

Hi, I'm using Inkscape to letter a comic and I've come to a tricky panel. There is a computer screen that I'd like to put the text 'Download in Progress' on. As the artist has drawn this from an angle I have to manipulate the text so it slightly smaller at the beginning and bigger at the end so that...

Re: Inkscape is resizing my image

Hey,

I don't get a dialogue box, but I can see you are right. Is there any way to change the size to what it I want to be. I need the image at the right size as it's a comics page and I'm going to letter it.

Inkscape is resizing my image

Hey,

When I open a TIFF file in Inkscape it has been resized from it's original 11x17 inches to 73.3x113.3 inches. If I open the file in other programmes it appears at it's original size. Has anyone got any idea why it would do this or how to stop it?
