I'm trying to import a PDF that contains some schematics, but the text is coming out completely mangled - has anyone else had this problem and if so how do you fix it?
Thanks!
Importing PDF - Result is mangled text?

Hello
If you do a seach here in the forum, I think you will find recent discussions about this topic.
Maybe I'm pesimistic, but there is not a good solution for that problem... It's just that the importing PDF to SVG form Inkscape have that deffect
See this, also.

I can't be sure right now but if you uncheck the "Replace font..." may make that Inkscape will convert your text to paths...
In any case, you will lost the posibility of editing your text in Inkscape...
A workaround ... save your text in a document file, and later copy and paste to Inkscape.
An ugly solution, I know...
Just my suggestion...
