when setting linewidth = .01mm object disappears

Postby warwickbeer » Wed Feb 22, 2017 9:31 am

Hi I'm new to Inkscape and I am trying to set line width to 0.01 mm as recommended by Ponoko for laser cutting.
but when I do this the object becomes invisible.
I am doing this in stroke style width
the lowest I seem to be able to get is 0.1, I can type in a value less than this but then the object is gone.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can see the lines by changing to Menu:View>Display Mode>Outline.

You could also zoom way in, but of course it would be hard to see the whole drawing.
Have a nice day.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/
