Hi all,
I'm new with Inkscape and I'm a bit confused with some tools.
I know that holding Control with the pencil I can draw dots. But are always black, and I can see an easy way to change the size. Every time I draw a dot is black and same size.
I want to draw smaller dots and with different colours.
Is it posible to create a brush or something to draw dots with an specific size and with random colours ? or colurs from a palette?
Thanks in advance!
How to draw random colour dots?
Re: How to draw random colour dots?
You can draw random sized dots, and randomize their color afterwards (spray tool with a single object, then: randomize color extension).
Or you can draw random sized dots, arranged in a regular grid, with random colors, but need to change their location (either random, or intentionally) afterwards (tiled clones dialog, then: randomize color extension).
Or you can draw dots in specific colors (e.g. 5 different colors) and randomize their location. Here is a video for this option:

(this is quick and easy, with just one step, the others have two steps at least)
