Ok, I've installed the program. I tried both the links from their site (the .exe installer and the .zip file) and it didn't work, so i cleaned my PC from everything and reinstalled my OS (Im using Win ME ). Same thing now, it wont work. I have even tried an older version of inkscape (0.43).
I know Ive used Inkscape before, a loooong time ago. So it should work..

Thanks for your help on this one Micro. I had asked Kalix to come to the forum for this question as I could not answer it for him.

No worries. I didn't actually know the answer, but found reports of the exact same error message with other apps that run on both linux and windows when running on 98.

Anything before 0.43 should work. GTK dropped support of ME and so unless we stopped keeping up to date with GTK we couldnt keep support for it going.
