Need Advice

I have a friend who has asked me to teach her Inkscape which I use and love. The problem is that she has a Mac and I have Windows. Will the instructions I send her be different for her on the Mac. I don't really know anything about a Mac as I have never used one.

Installation is different, and the keys need to be configured, as well as copy-pasting might need to be configured correctly. Aside from that (all described on the download page for macOS and in the FAQ), the remaining difference is that the Ctrl key is called Command, as far as I know.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

She'll need to be able to install it herself. As a Windows user, I would not be able to help someone install Inkscape on a Mac.
