I've been using Inkscape since late 2010, and I figured it is about time I join this site. (Okay, I also want to report an issue I'm having, but hopefully I'll be more active than just that). At the time I found Inkscape on accident - I think I found it while searching for a replacement for GIMP. Ever since then I loooove using it.
I started off using it just to draw, but I also designed cards and calendars and sold them on Etsy while I was in college. After college I started working full time as a knowledgebase manager so I made graphics for the site and for the training manuals using Inkscape. I am now back to making cards and calendars with Inkscape again, and I really hope that I can take my calendars and cards further than that.
