What do you think? How can I improve it?

Thanks!

Looks good, but shouldnt there be 3 sets of legs?
Love the gloss on the shell, really nicely done. Would love to see a bigger version, dont think your doing it justice currently :D

I agree, I was hoping that if I clicked it I would find a larger version.

Heh, yes I suppose I should make all six legs, I didn't want it to look too 'creeppy crawly' and I couldn't seem to draw them so they looked right... so I left them out! I'll try again later though, thanks for the comments! I'll also upload a larger image here.

Here it is:

Image(Click for larger)

I think that it looses its realism when it's larger, which is a shame. I guess that's because I used an image as a reference and worked on a scale of 1:1 (the original size) rather than working at a larger size.

Ah well, it's a learning curve!

Nice effects on the shell. Yeah arms and legs can be a real challenge, but sometimes sleeping on it pays off.

Looking forward to the updated vers.

It's a really sweet vector - although, in the larger version it does suffer a little too much blur. But it looks great in your signature.
