I imported a PDF of a map, which has drawn x and y axes. I set my internal unit of measure to mm, and found the scale of the map was 1:4444 in the x direction, but 1:6661 in the y direction. Is there a way to scale everything in the drawing so the x and y scales are equal? Perhaps I can even change them both to something convenient, such as 1:5000.
(I am using Windows XP and Inkscape 0.47.
Fix different x and y scales?
Re: Fix different x and y scales?
Is your Inkscape image the same ratio of dimensions as your map?
I'm not sure if it matters, but it's the only thing I can think of. Maybe other members will be more helpful

Use Object->Transform maybe, and specify the appropriate values?
