I use inkscape on my linux computer in the comfort of my house.
But I need to edit some pdf labels while I am in my garage sometimes and
have a windows 10 laptop out there. I installed the 64bit version on win10 with the installer;
It wouldn't run and when I had a look the inkscape directories were empty, I tried
reinstalling and the same thing happened.
I just headed for my computer and edited whatever it was in linux, and haven't bothered
looking at inkscape on the laptop again, but I should sort it out.
Is it a know problem?

If the directories are empty, then clearly the installation didn't work. Have you double-checked you downloaded the right file?

I would suggest trying the installation again, and make sure to take note where Inkscape wants to install it. If it still doesn't work, please tell us which file you downloaded, so we can test.
