Hi,
I want to fill a square with a color that is not in the pallette that i can find at the bottom, how?

A few different ways,
option 1. You can CHANGE the Palette Bars template, by clicking on the VERY TINY left arrow at the BOTTOM RIGHT of the inkscape interface, it is to the right of the last color box of the palette bar. A menu will appear letting choose many different palettes.
option 2. Right Click your object and choose 'Fill & Stroke' or (Shift+Ctrl+F). Select the FILL tab and use the RGB, HSL, etc to change the FILL COLOR.
