Hi, back after a long time!
I've shared my technique and workflow on digital comic creation with MyPaint and Inkscape here:
http://harishankar.org/blog/entry.php/w ... e-software
In the above tutorial I cover the workflow from:
1. Pencils and inks
2. Vectorization
3. Colouring and shading
4. Speech bubbles and final export
Hope it's beneficial to comic creators and digital artists.

Cool, thanks for sharing!
Re: Digital comic howto: worklow with MyPaint and Inkscape
I was wondering if we can request features Mypaint has into inkscape itself, making it most powerful tool for artists
Re: Digital comic howto: worklow with MyPaint and Inkscape
Since Inkscape is an open source project, anyone is welcome to request new features. You can do that at Launchpad. Here's info: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=286 But I think that Inkscape developers are not interested in making Inkscape like other programs. If a requested feature fits what they have in mind for Inkscape, they might consider adding it. Also, be sure to search Launchpad first, because the features you want may have already been requested.
