Re: Herbie
wow, off to a great start there!
Re: Herbie
I don't think you should be allowed to post new work here until you've finished Iron Man
I can tell this is going to be another one of those drawing which is near impossible to believe is actually a vector (esp one that doesn't use gradient meshes).
I look forward to seeing the drawing grow.

Looks awesome, really looking forward to the completed pic. Are you using a reference (I assume yes)?

I can imagine how taxing it would be--even on a new PC. It sure has a lot of details. I'm sure you've looked at ways to work around this, but just incase, you could try splitting your drawing into multiple files and putting them together at the last step.

Whoah! Amazing. Feel free to repost this in the "Finished Inkscape Work" forum. I love how you over-saturated around the headlights. Are the lens flares vector as well or were they added after in another application?

Re: Herbie
mr.manders, I continue to be awestruck by your work. It's amazing!
Have you ever considered writing some tutorials? Not for an entire vehicle or completed image. But for example, like this tractor-like tire, or Herbie's tire/wheel or windshield, or even just the background? Just a thought

I'm floored --- --- That is amazing, mr. manders.
What are the specs of your computer? I don't get anywhere near that level of complexity before Inkscape becomes pretty much unusable...
Also, I agree with Brynn. "Show us the way sir!"
