Form in 6 lines per inch

Postby jbatista.br » Wed Dec 03, 2008 5:59 am

Iam drawing a form, wich will be printed by a matricial printer.
How to set the vertical scale in 1/6", I mean, 6 lines per inch?
Thanks a lot

I think your asking for grid? You can find the option under Document Properties. Change grid units to Inches then give the Y spacing a value of 0.16666666666666666666666666666666666666... ;)

It worked, Thanks.

How can I see 1st line as line 1, 2nd as line 2 etc?
(the lines, starting from the top are 18, 17, 16, ..., 0, -1, -2)

The columns start at -1, this I can manage, using the horizontal scroll bar, but the lines I can't

Inkscape always counts from the bottom left corner of the canvas, sorry.
