CMYK support

a huge miss on Inkscape (as well Gimp) is about CMYK support - when printing out document, specially for offset printing, having the whole document with CMYK colours is a very important need.

If you search the forum you should find a few topics about CMYK support with information you may useful. I'm pretty sure it's an issue the developers are well aware of.

My post was supposed to translate to: "I'm getting the impression that you think this site is directly associated with the Inkscape team, because your post wouldn't make sense otherwise. The thing is, we can't actually do anything about it. You're not even asking for help; you're just posting a complaint..." 8-)

Nitrofurano has posted in the "Inkscape Ideas" forum. You are right the this is not the forum to "request" new features, but it is a place to discuss them with other users.

Let's not require people to intrepet meaning from vague replies--provide the translation. If you felt Nitrofurano had posted in the wrong place let him/her know where the correct place is. If you don't want to take the time to do that, it would be more helpful to not post anything.

Gimp has a plugin for CMYK, and Inkscape has made some steps in that direction, I haven't tested it myself so I can't tell how far it went.
