Haaaaaaalp! Saved SVG file opens EMPTY!
I spent hours working on some business cards....saving quite often to be sure my work wasn't lost. My computer died while the program was open and when I tried to open the file nothing is visible on the page! Is there any way to recover my work or am I SOL?

Hi.
Good thing it opens. Corrupted files usually mean part of the svg is chopped off where you may recover some parts before.
Hard to guess without the file. If the damage wasn"t a large data loss the file size should be nearly the same as before.
Saving often over the same file =/= backup save.
There are a few topics around here about how to set up an autosave option in inkscape for the future.

Yes, if you can provide the damaged file, someone here might be able to recover it.
