Hi hi,
I've searched here and on Launchpad, to see if there is a request to make the behaviour of the Show Layers keystroke (CTRL+SHIFT+L) *toggle* the layers view on and off, like View Rulers does (CTRL+R). My 0.48.2 does not toggle off, only on.
Sometimes... you just wanna quickly view the layers, then hide them again. I know F12 toggles everything, but that's different! I might want to keep Fill and Stroke open, for example.
This could be good for all of the keystroke combos: Text, Fill and Stroke, Objects, Path Effect, Transform, Align & Distribute, and Swatches.
Checking here just in case this is already set in train.
View layers should toggle on AND off?
Re: View layers should toggle on AND off?
This feature request has been filed already (more than once, by the way):ottadini wrote:I've searched here and on Launchpad, to see if there is a request to make the behaviour of the Show Layers keystroke (CTRL+SHIFT+L) *toggle* the layers view on and off, like View Rulers does (CTRL+R).
