Even though the car kinda looks unfinished, it really suits the boxart. Nice work.

Thanks. You're right that the car is unfinished as I've yet to add the door mirrors. This is a work in progress forum after all. I'm pretty new to vector art and this is my first major piece so just wanted some opinions from people with more experience on how i'm doing.

The bond outline doesnt stand out from the background anywhere near as well as the girl, gets slightly lost. (look at the thumbnail, you'd hardly spot him)
I'd probaly either alter the color on him, give him an outline, or move the white dot of the iris type thing to be behind the characters to give them some more punch.

The cars looking pretty good, tis definitely recognisable as the aston, but you might want to think about the style a bit, the gradients on the windscreen and rockets give
a 3d look that the majority of the body is lacking, I'd probably either go all out on trying to do 3d with gradients/blur, or switch to a more stylised pure flats style.
Looking very good for a first vector tho!

wrt styles, try having a browse through the deviantart digital>vector>vehicles section to see if you can get some inspiration.
heres a few nice examples:

Theres also a couple of kickass cars from the realistic style in the inkscape share/examples folder. their car.svgz and gallardo.svgz

Cheers

Glad you like it so far. Was already thinking of possibly moving the white circle behind bond to make him stand out more. Thanks for the suggestions for improvements.

It seems to be good one though, but you need to have a colored one, curving at both the ends (mix it with the color fading) and post that again here :)
