Automatically closing path

Postby Lettersalad » Thu Aug 23, 2018 9:17 pm

Hi there,

I have a file with multiple small paths. Much of them seem to be closed, but in fact just have the start- and endnode lying very close to each other or on top of each other.
Is there any way to automagically close these paths,
or to find nodes overlapping each other?

Thanks,
Salad

Try this if the paths are not near each other F1(select), Ctrl-A (select all), F2 or N (nodetool), Ctrl-A (select all nodes), Alt-J (join nodes with segment)

if paths are close or overlapping they will be joined to each other not just closed so you might need this tedious sequence instead
F1, Tab, F2 or N (Nodetool), Ctrl-A, Alt-J,
F1, Tab, etc repeating until done.
Your mind is what you think it is.
