Can Inkscape store and read fonts from its main fonts folder

Hi,
Does Inkscape have the capabilities to store and read new font files directly from its font folder? I downloaded some Mac fonts and I would really like to use them.
My other option is to add them to the main fonts folder in my computer, but curiosity got the better of me. :lol:

Nope, you want to install them in the normal way on your system.
