Client Work - ball and wood chair leg

The product is based on a custom made smaller and slight different proportioned tennis ball. I have replaced the name. The sponge filter found here worked well.

During this project I had two tough problems, the second was wood grain on an angled rounded leg. This what I cam up with. Client was happy.

btw for testing simple compositions and textures..i think povray is a good little tool. there's many wood/stone/metal/glass/other textures in povray that can be quickly rendered and inspected at various camera distances. and if you get into it (povray) it can provide a good test bed for programmed 3d compositions, just as inkscape has scriptable scribbles.
