When I copy or duplicate a group that has text on a path in it and ungroup the duplicate or copy the text on a path looses or moves from its reference point that it was originally associated with or to.
Is there something I can do to prevent this or is there something I am doing wrong?

The issue is that the text isn't re-linked to the duplicated path, but still linked to the original path.
