New filters tutorials?

Anyone know of any tutorials on the usage of the new filters? Anyone know much about the filters themselves and want to share some knowledge?

What a spot of luck - I found Tavmjong Bah's unlinked draft chapter on using filters - Chapter 12. Filter Effects DRAFT

It's likely to be the best guide available.

Thanks! That looks great - leaps and bounds better than anything I've found so far.

I guess this means Tavmjong's manual is still being developed? I had got the impression he had stopped working in it. Hurray!

I suspect development had, seemingly, only stopped because he had long since documented all of 0.45's features.
