New article: Using templates in Inkscape

Postby prokoudine » Sun Mar 06, 2011 7:46 am

Document templates are a quite important part of Inkscape that is however not always transparent to users. This article attempts to sum up information on using and editing templates. If you ever wanted to really customize Inkscape, don't miss it out :)

Done and done! Thanks, prokoudine! Your link is delightful. I've used Ubuntu Linux since 5.10, Breezy Badger. I've never known what to do with templates, being a Windows expatriate. Since reading your link, I've added an Inkscape template. Now my default page size is Letter (I live in Canada and A4 is kinda rare here).

Many thanks to you and the Inkscape team.

You are welcome. If you have "white spots", things you want to know more about, let me know. I'm interested to share my experience, I just don't always know what's useful to people.
