How to rename a gradient in XML-Editor

Postby macti » Fri Nov 14, 2008 9:46 pm

I´m tryning to change the gradient name via the XML-Editor.
However renaming the id="linearGradient3155results" within the def-element results in deleting the whole gradient.

Any solution?

It doesn't actually delete the gradient, but it does temporarily remove it from whatever object is using it. That's because the object is still trying to reference a gradient named "linearGradient3155results". So first you rename the gradient, then you need to find the object, look in its "style" attribute for the old gradient name and change it there, too.
