How to suppress bitmap image import prompt when using cmd

Postby allroadCole » Sat Aug 26, 2017 10:36 am

I'm trying to automate png to svg conversion using inkscape. Inkscape is running on a server. It is working great, except that there is a prompt that appears when the PNG is opened. This prompt stops the image from being exported

This prompt does not appear when opening an image through the UI (since I have checked "Don't ask again"), however it always appears when opening an image from the cmd prompt.

How can I suppress this prompt?

Here's one additional way to use Inkscape via command line:

Unfortunately, I think in your case, it is not going to help.

I think what you'd like currently isn't possible with Inkscape. If there isn't one yet, you could create a feature request for this at https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape
