Removing background?

Postby Zambaku » Sat Nov 08, 2008 2:38 am

I'm creating a logo for my company and I would like to know how to remove a specific color in an image so that instead of having a white field as a background I would get a transparent background?

Inkscape's default background color is transparent, so when you export your drawing to .png if you have areas without objects they will be transparent.

Or do you already have a logo in raster and you want to make a vector out of it?
