Noobie here again.

I'd like to snap a circle to the top of a bezier curve.
I went to Document Properties and clicked "Always Snap" on "Snap to Object" , "Snap to Grid", and "Snap to Guide"

No luck.

Any ideas.

What Inkscape version are you using? The latest (0.48) has a special snapping toolbar where you can turn on various options.

It doesn't seem from your drawing you want to snap to guides or the grid, you want to snap one object to another. Snapping to nodes to nodes and nodes to paths might be what you're looking for.

I'm using 0.48. Do I use the Snaps Options from "Document Properties" Snap to ? or some other option?

Both the Document propertis snapping options and the snapping toolbar influence the snapping, they control different features.

Do you see the snapping toolbar on the right-hand side of the screen?
