I've been tracing an image, and have had no problems at all. But I must've clicked something because now the strokes are strange, kind of freehand. I just want straight lines, not the freehand addition. What's the problem?

You had set the shape:ellipse from shape:none in the tool's setting at the top (from the dropdown list).
