I had a problem with inkscape and first tried to delete the preferrences file. That didn't help so I reinstalled inkscape.
Now when I try to open it I just get a message:
Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.
I reinstalled again, but this message keeps coming
after reinstalling inkscape message:Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.

Hello Moini, thanks for your reply.
Yesterday evening I solved the problem (I live in Europe). Yes, I am using Windows. The solution is not in the link you sent me. I was trying to start Inkscape from the link in the taskbar (you can pin programs to the taskbar), and that didn't work. But I found out that I could start it from the startmenu. I deleted the link on the tastbar and made a new one, and that works fine.
I also found a solution for the problem that prompted me to reinstall Inkscape.
