Where is the backup directory in XP

Where is the backup directory in XP

I was making something and then the program crashed and told me the backup was saved in a location but it didn't tell me where it was.
can you tell me where it is or probably is?

Its in the user profile directory, so C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\ on XP
