Pardon my not knowing exactly where to post this.
For some time Tumbleberry and I have been using Inkscape to develop a texture pack for Minecraft, and with increasingly complex art came performance boundaries the 32-bit version of Inkscape isn't optimized to render. Thankfully I discovered Partha's fantastic 64-bit build of Inkscape for Windows. The Illustrator-like theme is a nice change, but it's hard to see the blue icon elements, especially at 1080p.
Thankfully the solution was an easy one. I changed those blue elements to more visible but still consistent colors. Here's an example:
Changing the icons is as simple as copying the modified "icon.svg" into "Program Files/Inkscape 0.48/share/icons/" and loading or reloading Inkscape.
If you'd like the modified SVG, here's the download link:

I hope this can help existing users of Inkscape!

So all you did was replace the icons which used that light blue color, and changed to a light green color? Gosh, if it's that easy, maybe I'll make a set for myself?
For myself, it's not that light blue that's so hard to see. For me, your light green isn't much easier. (Although maybe for colorblindness, I'm not sure about that.) It's the black color in almost every single icon, that's hard to see over Partha's signature gray, for me.
I think I might work on another set, although don't anyone hold your breath, lol. Maybe a set based on white rather than black? Or maybe yellow?

Hi brynn
Have tried to swap the black for white in the icons.svg file - to be used on the dark theme in the Partha's 64-bit version.
The contrast is better but the icons needs a little more work. The "greys' disappear on the dark theme.
You can use my swap-palettes" extension (search this board) to "automate" the process.
Good Luck

Yeah it was easy! If that's not to your liking would you post any changes on this thread?
I'd considered light blue, but using different colors that are context sensitive gets a little tricky. Don't want to throw in too many or confuse the interface. The options are limited.
I don't mind giving other colors a try. Perhaps a closer imitation of Illustrator would be more successful. More tweaks await!
