Hey.
I want to export my pixel art made with Inkscape, but when I do it, there are gaps between pixels.
I export the image at a bigger size.
I'm using Grids so everything is just in place.

Re: Exporting pixel art issue
Hi there,
you need to match the exporting area and resolution on the (90 dpi) pixel grid at least.
If it alone doesn't work, try this.

Sometime i'm exporting both pixel art and normal art in same image so I can do the 1st thing.
I don't understand much of that link, can you explain me what do I have to do?
Re: Exporting pixel art issue
That is about drawing the "pixels" instead of squares, as overlapping tiles (so that the gaps of the anti-aliasing are filled up).
If you follow the concept, you can trace whatever objects on screen -this case your g4696 group.
Except transparent pixels or objects.

Re: Exporting pixel art issue
This faq item covers all the ways to do handle the gaps: https://inkscape.org/en/learn/faq/?edit ... n_patterns
And I think there maybe be yet another way. I thought I saw something in the Extensions menu....
Hhhmm...well this must be my day for finding cryptic info. Extensions menu > Render > Seamless Pattern But I have no idea how to use it -- it really needs a Help tab, like many other extensions do, to explain how to use it.
But the info in the faq should suffice, in any case
