Hi,

I have a 3018 CNC which seems to connect happily to ghrblControl for using gcode to do engraving. The LiteFire software that came with the CNC is pretty nasty but it works. There is not much of a choice of fonts and there is no save option.

I tried Inkscape with the J Tech laser GCode extension but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to either generate the gCode or connect to the CNC.

I get the feeling I am missing some really obvious small step but am still baffled.

Any help (pointers to YouTube perhaps) would be very much appreciated.
