Hello everybody, I need help.
I'm using Inkscape to create geometry for a laser cutting, and generally I use contour lines in dxf format as input.
But when I export some shapes containing pattern, pattern are ignored.
Is there a way to transform the pattern in outlines? Something similar to the expand command in illustrator.
Thank you very much.

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
I'm not familiar with AI, so I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for. But generally to convert a pattern to a path, you would use Object menu > Pattern > Pattern to Object. I'm not sure if that would work for all patterns. But easy enough to try. (If the original object was a shape as opposed to a path, you'll have to use Path menu > Object to Path, to convert shape to path. Selecting the object with Selection tool, you can look at the status bar to learn whether it's a path or shape )
