Spiro is just amazing and I can't get enough of it. I went through a handful of the builds from the Win32 Snapshots downloads until I tried Inkscape19637-0808121442.7z, which seems to work reasonably well for Spiro. Many of the later builds didn't run at all or crashed during basic operations.
For now, Inkscape19637-0808121442.7z is working fairly well for Spiro, but I'm wondering if there is another preferred Win32 version for testing out the Spiro features. If so, is there a download link for that other build?
Also, is it possible to convert the Spiro shapes to a format that will retain their shape when opening them in 0.46 stable? I tried opening a Spiro shape file without any conversion in 0.46 and unsurprisingly it didn't retain it's shape.
Thanks for your help.
Most stable Win32 version for Spiro?

With new builds released each day this answer could change from day to day.
My recommendation is to get into the habit of downloading a new builds frequently. When you have problems with a new build, switch back to an old one. Note you can have multiple builds installed at once. Remember these builds aren't even Beta (or Alpha) so you have to expect problems.

Thanks, I guess I'll stick to the one I'm using and keep checking in on the newer builds to see if I can find one that doesn't crash on me.

Re: Most stable Win32 version for Spiro?
My normal approach is to keep one that I'm happy with, and hten have a bleeding edge one too, if it proves unstable switch back to the other one, if it proves ot be ok for a decent period of use, replace my 'stable' one with it, then repeat the process...

Thanks, that sounds like a good system. I just recently started looking into the dev builds, so I was wondering if there might be a "golden" older build for Spiro functionality, but I guess not.
